Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager with knowledge and experience in developing hiring strategies that align with business goals, able to devise and implement policies which select, develop, secure and retain the right staff to meet these objectives. Someone able to plan, direct, and coordinate the administrative functions of an organization serving as a link between management and employees. The successful candidate will be someone with a genuine care about the state of the company, who can display team leadership and management skills, including being able to direct personnel and ensure fulfillment of their responsibilities.

Role:

Among the functions for which the HR, the successful candidate must play an important role in developing a strategic vision of the organizational architecture and culture aligned with the business goals and strategies.

The successful candidate will be able to develop processes, procedures, a salary grade and level plan, and employee professional development paths to support our fast-growing consulting and BPO practices.

Job Duties:

  • Identifying, recruiting, qualifying, vetting, testing, and interviewing job candidates
  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring that the new staff receive the handbook and providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role ensuring that they receive the specific induction of the position
  • Manage documentation regarding new hires and existing employees with INSS as well as notify all matters relating to licenses, as per INSS regulations
  • Fill out the corresponding forms for new employees to open account and issue a debit card with the corresponding bank
  • Carry out employment contracts
  • Direct the process of controlling vacations, absences, subsidies, and sick leave
  • Prepare monthly report of days paid versus pending balance and deliver to the accountant of the company
  • Manage Compensation structure and prepare Payroll reports
  • Keep personnel files updated with optimal and timely documentation
  • Prepare the Annual Program for employee training and guarantee its compliance in the personnel training file
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures necessary for the good administration and motivation of the personnel
  • Review and update employee job descriptions in accordance with authorized changes
  • Develop grade and salary levels and practices and policies that are consistent across the organization and in line with the market
  • Develop and manage a professional development program in coordination with business unit strategies
  • Build a performance-based culture

  • Establish an HR Standard Operating procedure
  • Coordinate with business unit leads to develop a human resource strategy
  • Request from the person charged with Quality and Hygiene and Safety the required training topics to be taught; this training is part of the strict staff compliance requirements according to quality standards
  • Update the organization chart of functions clearly defining levels of authority and responsibility, in coordination with the different areas that make up the hierarchical structure and with the prior authorization of the CEO of the organization
  • Maintain a good level of communication with the staff, quickly ventilate conflicts or labor problems among the staff or between the staff and their bosses, taking the appropriate disciplinary actions and sanctions, handling all confidential matters under a high discretion policy
  • ​​Ensure that all employees are treated with respect and equality in accordance with labor laws and the principles of good administration
  • Perform various functions required by the position

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Psychology or similar field
  • MSc in Human Resource Management
  • English: advanced

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience driving results in the human resources field
  • Labor relations and compliance, compensation, and benefits programs administration
