IT Support Engineer – Level 4

Job Summary:

GSP Services is a growing company and with that our IT Department is taking a larger role. This position is located in our Managua, Nicaragua office, and reports to the General Manager.

Role:

The priority is to keep IT services working properly and in a timely manner throughout the organization. This implies carrying out a correct management of the applications and systems used in the company. Additionally, it is necessary to manage the internal network, servers, computers and everything related to technological devices.

Job Duties:

  • Provide hardware and software technical assistance to end users
  • Troubleshoot computer, phone, and network problems for end users on site and remotely
  • Provide support in office automation, including printing, installation, word processing, spreadsheets, email, operating systems, network and wireless connections
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance for Windows operating systems and desktop applications
  • Administration of Fortigate UTM, 3CX PBX, Call Tracking Metrics, FreePBX server, VPN and other solutions
  • Cloud based applications and desktop systems management like Zoho One, Box, Caspio, Power BI and others
  • Website maintenance activities
  • Ensure the optimal network performance
  • Preventive and corrective computer maintenance task

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Technical Support Specialist

Skills:

  • Advanced English skills
  • Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting of Windows Operating systems
  • Experience managing cloud-based applications
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot software
  • Networking experience required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Computer repair experience required
  • Experience working directly with end-users
  • Experience handling multiple projects and priorities at the same time
  • Agile mentality and a team player
