Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced industrial market researcher and strategy consultant. The entry level to be determined by the experience and qualifications of the candidate.

Role:

The Consultant will support market research and market-entry strategy consulting projects to private companies and industry associations in a wide array of sectors. These responsibilities shall include proposals writing, project design, project management, executive interviewing with decision-makers in Spanish and English, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, secondary research and industry analysis, benchmarking, competitive analysis, strategy formulation, strategic analysis, reporting and presentation.

Job Duties:

  • Support managing local clients’ communications
  • Provide guidance and consultation to clients in identifying and articulating problems and/or opportunities to be investigated
  • Support preparing business proposals and presentations.
  • Support management of market research and consulting projects from design to completion, including preparing work plans, establishing timelines, managing vendors, developing appropriate research methodologies, coordinating data collection and analysis, preparing written reports, giving oral presentations, and following up on project with clients
  • Identify and access relevant data sources for secondary research
  • Carry out secondary research of economic and market data to understand various market trends, industry competitiveness, competitive landscape, market key players and their business models, and positioning of a company
  • Design quantitative and/or qualitative research data gathering instruments such as surveys and discussion guides
  • Identify key decision makers and conduct in-depth interviews with business executives and technical specialists
  • Analyze and interpret data using basic and advanced statistical procedures and methodologies
  • Conduct natural language analysis of qualitative findings
  • Conduct strategic analysis
    • Build market opportunity and competitive analysis models including market sizing, market attractiveness, benchmarking, Voice of the Customer, SWOT analysis, among others
    • Identify business growth opportunities and formulate go-to-market strategies
  • Prepare concise and compelling reports
  • Communicate research findings and provide relevant and actionable insight to clients

Education:

  • Bachelors 4-year degree in business management, economics, industrial engineering, market research or related discipline
  • MBA is an advantage

Experience:

  • 5+ years related experience
